Why am I being double-charged?Updated a year ago
If you notice a double charge on your account for a single purchase, the initial step is to examine your confirmation email.
If you happen to receive multiple confirmation emails, each with a different order number, it indicates that you have indeed placed multiple orders. In such cases, we recommend a thorough review of the order details and reaching out to us for assistance.
Rest assured, if you do not observe duplicate orders, there's no need for concern. We only deduct a single payment, and the second one will not be processed. The double charge you observe on your bank statement is likely an authorization or pending charge, rather than an actual transaction. Some credit card companies authorize your card before the actual funds are deducted when making payments for specific services. In such instances, the authorization appears on your bank statement alongside the actual charge. Typically, these authorizations vanish from your bank statement within a month. Therefore, we advise you to be patient and wait for the release of the funds or contact your bank for further assistance.
