How to locate a missing package with a "Delivered" status?Updated a year ago

1. Explore Potential Delivery Locations at Your Address:

If you can't locate your delivery at your doorstep, please consider the following areas based on your type of residence or location:

House:

  • Inspect the surroundings of your property, as the delivery person may have left the package in a secure location or left a Delivery Notice Card.
  • Check with everyone in your household, as someone else may have received or retrieved the package.

Apartment Building:

  • Check your individual mailbox.
  • Look for a parcel locker; they will leave a key in your mailbox.
  • Inquire at the security desk or with the building superintendent or concierge.

Business:

  • Visit the mailroom.
  • Inquire at the front desk or with security.
  • If the package was delivered by a courier service or a third-party, contact them for information.

Community Mailbox:

  • Check your individual mailbox.
  • Inspect the parcel compartment; typically, the shipping carrier leaves a key in your mailbox.

Large Institution:

  • In the case of large institutions, the mailroom is the final point of delivery. It may take some time before the mailroom delivers the package to you or instructs you to pick it up.

Safe Drop:

  • Examine safe locations on your property to find the package.
  • Consult with other members of your household, as they may have brought the package indoors.

2. Allow for an Additional Business Day:

While it may be frustrating, the package is likely "almost" delivered. In rare cases, a package may appear to be 'delivered' but may take an extra 24 hours to arrive at your doorstep. Several reasons can account for this, including delivery quotas that need to be met and potential clerical or technological errors.

3. Contact Your Local Post Office for Further Assistance:

If your package remains elusive, we recommend visiting your local Post Office or reaching out to the shipping carrier that services your address. They are best positioned to provide insights into the delivery process.

Here are general steps to contact and file a claim with them:

  • Contact the local post office or shipping carrier via their provided phone number.
  • Visit the carrier's website and initiate a Missing Mail Search. The shipping carrier may require you to complete a claim form, which could be available on their website or sent to you via email or mail. Ensure that the form is accurately filled out and includes all requested information.
  • Follow up on the claim by maintaining communication with the shipping carrier's claims department and updating us on any developments or outcomes so that we can assist in resolving the case.

If, despite these efforts, you are still unable to locate the package, please do not hesitate to Contact Us. We are always ready to provide assistance.

Note: To assist us in addressing your situation, please ensure you provide the exact shipping address for us to communicate with the shipping carrier effectively.
