Do I have to pay for import fees, duties and taxes?Updated 8 months ago
The Shipping fee is obligatory for all orders, whereas VAT Tax is only applicable in select countries. You can verify all fees on the checkout page before finalizing your order. The determination of whether you will incur customs and taxes depends on your shipping address, as Tax and Customs fees are governed by the destination countries.
Please note that you are responsible for VAT Tax; it is not considered an import Tax.
- Regarding Tax: The prices displayed on our website do not include taxes, but you will receive information about the precise tax rate during the checkout process before you confirm your order. The standard VAT rate within the EU falls in the range of 16 to 27%. In Canada, the tax rate you will be subject to depends on your province. You can find more details about the tax amount here.
- Regarding Customs fees: This fee is only imposed in specific countries and cannot be included in your checkout as it is managed and charged by the Customs authorities upon entry into your country. Your country's Customs department will notify you if such charges apply. Customs policies vary widely, with some countries not levying import fees on shipments, while others do. Tax is not incorporated into the price on our website, which means that you might be required to cover duties and taxes once you receive your order. Import taxes, duties, and any relevant customs fees may be applied when your order reaches its final destination, as determined by your local customs office.
